The Stod Wasp is another dry fly used in Plzeň to attract Chub amongst other species.
Designed as a hi-vis dry fly it is particularly successful in Spring and Summer when the chub are feeding on terrestrials.
Although this is a wasp pattern, it also performs well when hornets, hoverflies and bees are active.
Primarily a small river / stream dry fly, it can also produce results on larger rivers and stillwaters.
