The Radbuza Foam Beetle is a handy fly to have in your box when the Chub are feeding on terrestrials.
I tie these in a number of different sizes from 16 up to 8 and tend to vary the underbody materials and colour.
They’re most effective in the summer, fished along runs with overhanging trees and bushes.
No need to get them under the overhanging vegitation as, as most of us already know, the ‘plop’ as the cast is pulled back slightly attracts any Chub looking for an easy meal.
