The Purple And Peacock Maggot is a simple nymph pattern tied with just some fine, purple chenille for the body, peacock herl for the shoulder, a 2.8mm tungsten bead at the head and some purple 140D tying thread – all on a size 12 nymph hook.
Again, this is tied with the Radbuza Chub in mind but can be effective for any of our river species.
