Continuing from my last post, here is a couple more soft hackle variants.

Both of these wet flies use partridge hackle feathers tied fairly bushy rather than the traditional northern english sparsely tied patterns.

These flies are tied with no added weight, relying on the current to keep them just below the surface when fished accross the flow and allowed to drift down stream.

These patterns lend thelselves perfectly to this, the simplest of wet fly fishing methods.
