The Jessica’s Return nymph Chub fly is tied using a guinea fowl hackle and rabbit fur, both dyed pink, a bit of ice dubbing and wine-red 140d thread.
I tie this on a size 14 or 12 caddis hook with a tungsten or brass bead, depending on river conditions.
It’s especially useful on cloudy days when the water is less than clear.
